K came down to the city yesterday evening. She met E, who had decided to treat himself to sushi for his evening meal. They had a nice talk about things like job training courses (he has had to attend classes on both his days off, and will attend another one tomorrow after his shift at work.) She took N, Ophelia, Cordelia and me out to dinner at Pizzeria Uno. The K Clan voted unanimously in her favor. “She’s nice!” was the basic opinion expressed. N, of course, now has a new very good friend. They are working in cahoots to get me to become a non-smoker. He told disgraceful and outrageous lies about me! There was a lot of laughter and happiness.
The girls took off on their 15-year-old own and left the extremely evil but heavenly dessert they had ordered to the three of us. Then K and N and I walked back to the K place to drop N off, and K and I took off to Rubyfruit’s. The DJ needed to learn the power of her mike. We got comfy on a bench though, and talked about stuff, and watched two lovely ladies dancing right in front of our table. They were lovely because neither of them was trying to impress anyone; they danced very nicely together; and they were relaxing, having fun, just being. Like us.
It was a lovely evening. K drank too much caffeinated soda though! I was safely home before 1 a.m. Today I am being a rawther lazy lioness.
