Dance on, lovely ones

Leonine or infantile or worse

Appalled
she sits convinced
she casts a pall
over all she most wishes
to give joy

It’s just a matter of not enough sleep
she knows
but still at this hour
of this day
the thought refuses to leave

The power of old voices
from a small age
as they swell forth to fill
a certain void
she curls up
in a small ball
inside
where the largeness of her present being
can’t be seen

It is sad the certainty
that all the bad news
comes down to just one commonality
and being a lion she knows
just what that factor is

She resolves anew to remove it
so that health and joy and freedom
will be granted where her flame
only burns holes
in the furniture of otherwise
spotless lives

wow – again. If this is a self portrait, then I wish you more sleep so that health and joy and freedom may be granted to you too.

Hope you’re not regretting the crazy fun we had here today? Laughter is great medicine. We hijacked your heartfelt prayer to the Universe but even so, it was heard. And maybe laughter too is a prayer. Rest easy sweet poet. You have some crazy friends, and we love you. Sweet Dreams

You are NOT the cause of other peoples’ pain. If anything, your presence makes others’ pain easier for them to bear, just because you are there, and those who love you you and whom you love KNOW you care about them. 🙂

Let’s twirl around dance floor before midnight chimes. You can put your sweet head on my shoulder. Much Love & Warmest Hugs

Oh I know were going to dance together. I’m definitely planning to call into New York. Will pray all goes well. See now why your upset. Gentle arms round you, holding you. Put your telephone number in a note. I’ll call you. If P comes this way give her my address and phone number. But more importantly, I want to call you. Love

Will talk to you at work tomorrow as that seems better for you. Can call at 6-pm UK time which is 5 hours ahead of you. Will put your numbers in my diary this time. Should have done that before. Now take something to settle you tonight so you sleep. Much Love

Address: 26 Willow Crescent, Great Houghton, Northampton NN4 7AP. Telephone: 01604-661404. An early night will be good for you Cathy. I’m twirling off to bed myself now. Snuggle up.

Another heartfelt whitter ~C. I think we all need to remember not to be so hard on ourselves, Cat’s daughter told me that today. She said: “Bren, it’s ok to ease up a little and not be sush a hard taskmaster on yourself.” Maybe you need to see that in you too. Sending you much love in thought and prayers, Bren.
