Change is good
The mantra for today.
I am dressed and ready. Miranda and Cousin Flo (yeah, she got IT this weekend) say we need to leave earlier than has been our habit. I’ve been saying that for weeks, but Cousin Flo carries far more clout than I ever will. Righto … to unpacking and wandering around, trying not to bump into walls. Will report back soon.
Sign of trust
A key or perhaps a symbol
I will seek it
for when the time comes
if it ever does
each day given over to care
and in the offering up
it is made worthy of the blessing
for which I seek an icon
to give you in honor of
a certain overcoming
You move in slow and moderated steps
I rush headlong and headstrong diving
you stand as still and strong as stone
I wash rampant as rapids
You come sooner
I walk with more care
two reaching and in the meeting
we learn the rhythms
tides and placid hours
and time will bring you to know
I am true and truthful
what we have even more
than either left alone
and that is the day
for a symbol to be made
Ah, lovely whitter. Solidity and motion. Good morning!
