Babbling toward ecstasy
All right, all right … I was just babbling toward sleep actually. Here are my babbles.
Waiting
A package of memories
beloved places I need to see
to tide me over and refresh my vision
even as the longing strikes so hard
in quiet moments
Sapped just now
the fervent fevered activity on hold
the ache is in my whole being
discontinuity understood and understandable
and awful
I lay down and pray
that the beauty of her presence will
in memory’s visitations
wash over me and through me
every meeting leads to a deeper need
Gently I adjust toward home
from this barren place
so far from where my soul resides
she is the beacon in my night
the quiet breeze in my day
In this world I am tentative
hesitant at every step
every corner to be turned a trial
it wasn’t then and there
or here when she was with me
It is a night of frail glass
will she come and guard my safety
it is cold and dark
so I remember a face in a rear view mirror
a profile seated in a chair beside me
How I watched her there
eyes divining expressions
devouring minute details
to hold onto because sometimes
they can warm a lonely night
Beautiful expression of the depth of your love truth. Hugs

My rush before my “mini” leaves me with no time to give you the response you deserve. I do apologize. I did receive your lengthy missive and will respond upon my return. Have a wonderful week! 🙂

“In this world I am tentative” ah. ryn: I’d encourage you to go if you can muster up the moxie. I have found that exposure to as many types of gatherings, readings and events as possible has taught me to engage discrimination and made my work stronger. No doubt about it though, this stuff is terrifying. Best wishes from over here!

I honestly don’t know that I could sustain a love from such a distance. You soul is clearly in this emerald land.
