Another year

It’s my birthday! It is also the anniversary of the day a very shy anam cara stumbled upon my diary. It took her a couple of months, but eventually she got up the courage to leave me a note. Many changes resulted from that note, in both our lives. I am very grateful for all of them.

On Saturday afternoon K and I went to her friends’ place. K and L grilled delicious food. We talked and laughed and had a great time. Then …

These lovely ladies presented me with a cake! Very chocolate! With six candles. :D:D:D I tried to announce that I was five, but K said I was 36 (again). To see the truth of the matter, look at wherever it is (upper left under my button dealiebob) where my age shows up here.

I need to get on my way into this day. There are loads of things to do at the office today, of course. I might pop in to whitter later. I might not! Who knows?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY it is ( or would be) my sweet grandmothers birthday also. gosh i loved her. fresh baked bread, walks on country roads, braiding my hair, believing in me and sticking up for me as a teenager. i hope you have a fabulous wonderful day!!!
