And a child shall lead them

I don’t know why that’s my title. It popped into my head on the bus this morning, and it’s just so happy making.

Outlines, incomplete

I wish blessings on you
every possible gift
of health and wealth and joy

As for me
well the plan reveals itself
in a most delightful way

My muse dances with me
tucks me in at night
sprinkles stardust into my dreams

Dreams that stretch across an ocean
bid me attend to the tasks at hand
lead me onward to a finer place

I wish you acceptance
simplicity and sunrises
shimmering moonlight dancing on water

There are kindred souls
hearts warm with benevolence
and life I find is good

So I leave you now with a sigh
the story does not bear repeating
the smile and the laugh and the barb

I am reminded
those who forget
yes

How quick I am to believe
so eager for happiness
but always the pain returns

Nothing to say
except to the stars that shine
in skies in other places

A language obscure and hidden
to tell tales some will never understand
runic messages of history

To have never understood a word
not to see what is not about anything
but the intricate nonsense in my mind

The sun we are given
is the amount we are meant to have
and tides are irrefutable

Inscrutable and transparent
so many things
for eyes blessed with vision

My muse has gone on a long vacation. 😛 I love your pictures. They awe me, thinking about how old they are, the people who created them. The history. *sighs happily*

*smiles* very pretty

Sorry about that. Was sure I’d changed it to favorites only! Many thanks for your note, sweet poet. Hugs & Smiles

A magical mystery poem. Very runic. My muse is behaving quite badly, in fact she’s being quite outrageous. Behind the scenes….;) Smiles & Hugs sweet Poet

The whitter seems so magical, with a tinge of sadness, and whistfulness, but also much whimsy and quiet joy. 🙂
