A bad night

N has a cold. This involved a nosebleed at some bizarre hour … then at 3 something-or-other the barking cough, a fever, medicine, a bath … and he’s in sharing a bed with me and his sister so … I have been left staring vacantly into Thursday.

I did, however, visit a friend in another place and she had these lovely quizzles for me to keep myself occupied with. (Thank you, Colette.) If I actually wake up today I might be back! If I note you and seem a bit more feathery than usual, at least you know the source of it. (N insists that he can go to day camp today.)
