I have a propensity for ostrich-like behavior. It seems that my head is almost always either in the sand or in the clouds.

My cable modem connection at home is having technical difficulties. Basically, it needs a new power cable. It will most likely be a couple of days till I can figure out the least expensive way to handle that. I don’t want to have to hand a technician $35.00 to install a new power cable. Or even to tell me that I need a new Ethernet card should that turn out to be the case. So hopefully soon I’ll get to my ISP/cable company’s local office and do a face-to-face swap.

Anyway … I am completely uninspired at the moment. However, I did sleep last night, for about eight and a half hours. Which is good, very good. I want to repeat that tonight.

All the best,
Me Explorer

Yay for sleep! Bummer for tech problems.

Ah, yes, sleep does good things for us. Sorry to hear about the cable problems. Hugs,

Oh yeah, you definitely need the sleep….glad you got it!

How fascinting I’m an oster hybrid 😉 flaps wings, the sand’s hot today. Not much going on down here a mole with attitude just walked over me beak. Hugs hugs hugs hugs

Wish ya the best with both the computer connection and the sleep. Huggles : )

That’s better than where Dubya’s head is! (Michael Moore is such a straight-shooter; thanks for sharing this.) I’m glad you were able to sleep last night, as I was pretty much awake from 2:30 on. How about we give someone else a turn at sleeplessness tonight? Here’s to a speedy recovery for your computer!

Cable modems and power supplies can be as troublesome as computers, or the opposite sex. Keep happy and well rested and all will work out.

Awww honey… I know how it feels to lose inspiration for a while, I’m sorry. I know it will find you again soon… I’m sure of it. You’re so amazing. I love you!

Gak. I hate technical problems. Did you not make your monthly human sacrifice to Bill Gates the ethernet gods? Sweet dreams!

Very good stuff, sleep. Hugs too.

ahhh, sleep is the best thing in the world. lol to the article.

Ah, sleep is always good… Michael Moore is the voice of decency and concern. He aches for our country and the world – he strives to show us how inhumane our leaders have become in their efforts to retain control of circumstances not in their control. He wants everyone on earth to be able to live in peace and happiness. I hope he attains his dream, I really do. Thanks for the link.

*hugs* ack silly technology

Internet problems can be hassles, Cathy! I hope another good nights sleep will inspire you once again! Love and hugs,

The Egyptian goddess Ma’at wore an ostrich feather in her hair. She was present at the judgment of the dead; her feather was balanced against the heart of the deceased to determine whether he had led a pure and honest life. Being ostrich-like is not all bad! 🙂

Sticking to dial up here, lol, no matter how dinasourish it seems. It works for me. With a new computer, it’s not as slow and it serves my purposes. Besides dial up with NETZERO is free, and free with METCONNECT. that”ll work. Free ISP , and free emails. What more could a person ask for?

I tend to bury my head a little too…its just so sad. Hope you get your cable worked out and glad you got some sleep. :o)

Honestly, thank God for Michael Moore. We need him. Moby, the musician, posted the same link in his journal (moby.com) and…as usual…GWB (or “The Resident” as another of my favorites calls him) makes me angry beyond words. I’m glad you got some sleep! It works wonders, sometimes.
