wing night
So they’ve removed Vioxx from the market. Because recent testing proved it could trigger heart attacks in some people? Call me silly but isn’t this something they should have done prior to becoming uh–FDA approved? I’ve taken Vioxx for about 3 years now for my ankle and knee, and have no problems with it. Tried a few other meds like Celebrex before Vioxx with no luck. *damn* It’s like good food, once you are hooked on it they stop making it. Apparently my physician is replacing Vioxx with a med called Bextra. Time to do some research it I guess.
I’m going for 40ยข wings tonight with my friend Michelle to the local dive bar, the wings are mighty deeeee-lish. Deeee-lish enough to make you forget the charming ambiance. We’ve missed this particular Tuesday night ritual because of work, blah blah blah work and such. But tonight, tonight baby its on! Wings and beer.
Tara lost her cell phone. ahhhhgrrr. Poor kid, we are trying to mentally backtrack where the phone went MIA. So far with no luck. It is utterly amazing what we invest in these little things isnt it? We don’t memorize numbers because they are stored in the cell phone. The.Cell.Phone. Last night Tara brought over her boyfriend. boyfriend. The boy is 6’6 if you can believe it. He seems nice enough. They seem real casual as a couple. He is definately not the one. Not yet. I think as a mother I’d know. Mothers, we have super-powers you know. We see things. Tara has had a few boyfriends throughout high school, nothing ever serious. You know how some young girls become all Romeo and Juliet dramatic? Not Tara. She’s always been the girl who has lots of guy friends. I can’t wait to see her in when she is really in love.
*sigh*
Markie is home with a migraine. He has not had one in quite a while. They debilitate him, literally. He’ll be couch bound all night. I better check on Trae soon, get kicking with homework, the grueling nightly ordeal. Right now I think he is raiding the cuboard for oreos, ie–he’s eating all his lunch snacks.
You know I love the digital camera, but I miss having hard copies of photographs. I’m going to have to go online and order a bunch of everything I have uploaded from the camera.
I leave you with Trinity, sleeping in a box:
that’s one tall boyfriend. lol.

Thanks for your note. I have a thousand opinions about Vioxx & drug companies. I actually talk to folks at Pfizer everyday. You would think someone dies everyday there. They are so sad. Also, regarding the ineterracial issue, you’ve never really came out and said you were in one, although I guessed when I saw a pic of your son. I wanted to explore it further with you but it didnt seem okay?

Awww. *melt* Beebee keetee! Damn my husband and his allergies! RYN: You are the FIRST person to ask about the lighter!!! Ha! Good eye! And, I asked the same question myself. Found it later, in the glovebox. I was pissed. Somebody should know to child-proof the car for me. Everyone who knows me, KNOWS I’m a danger to myself! Geesh!
