“Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.”

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”

“Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

Words to live by, indeed.

That last quote was in my mom’s decode-a-quote today, it’s interesting that I should hear a quote for the first time, and then to hear it twice in that same day. Is it some sort of memorial day, and that explains the coincedence? *sigh* I could really learn a lesson or two about the hate thing.

🙂 Wise words. Thanks for the card! I love those twisted whiskers cards. I have a calendar put out by them this year.

I do plan on taking my camera, I have it on one the many lists I have floating around. Unfortunately, it’s a digital camera, so I have to remember to bring the charger and energy converter too. Gahh. And yes, I did mean that as being I had a few problems with hating. I grew up not really learning how to deal with anger and so now as I get older and start learning, it became a bit of a pendulum

…swing and it was tough to learn how to stop expressing my anger/hate and move on. I’m getting better at it now though, and quotes like that really help to put things into perspective for me. Thanks,

Ryn: I’m thinking about finding a second job. A lot of ppl at work are as well. It’s just so (sorry for sounding like a broken record but..) ridiculous. They were supposed to keep 6, they kept 10, that’s why everyone’s hours are screwed. There’s not enough hours to go around for that many people. I’m going to talk to the boss and go from there. I should do that real soon, like now. :/

Thanks for stopping by me diary…and thanks for not leaving a note like “you’re a digusting pig!” or “Please shove that comb up my ass!” I get enuff of those. I hope yer Steelers make it to the big dance. My Eagles are looking to Extract some revenge on your punk asses!
