At the beginning of Sept. we took a little trip to Tampa to visit spouses brother and fiance. Nice girl. Eager, eager, ever so excited to be married. bah! We’ll check back with her in 16 years and 3 kids later. We basically ate out at funky little resturants and drank a lot, the usual family get together. We caught a movie–"The Four Brothers". We did Charleys Steak House, apparently the number 2 steakhouse in the country, number one somewhere in Chicago. Men & thier meat. Did the touristy YBor thing, no beach going though. Red tide or something going on. Busch Gardens too…..Did catch one day of sun though in the pool. Ahhh sun. Missing that considering it is a whopping 54 degress today, into the 30’s last night. Yes 30’s!!

The falls pictures are from McConnels Mills. Great place to hike or just take in natures amazing beauty.

OK, time for "New Show Roundup". The new shows that have piqued my intrest:

ø "Invasion" Wednesday nights 10pm. Eddie Cibrain aka "Jimmy" from Third Watch is on. That alone reason is reason watch….

ø "Threshold" Friday nights 9pm. More sci-fi based programming. This shows are attempting to fill my XFiles void.

Of course Nip/Tuck is back on Tuesday nights at 10. Now if I can actually find the time to watch these shows I’ll be amazed. I remember I used to record everything. The vcr days are slipping away quickly, eh?

Ah what beautiful pictures. Sounds like you had some nice family time. RYN: Elizabeth’s real dad lives in CO and travels for his job, sometimes to OK where we live, but he rarely sees her unless his parents finagle to make it happen. I’d say once every couple years. But as little as she sees her dad, she still talks about him with love, and confusion about why he doesn’t want to be with her.

…It’s sad too that she had a step father before this one who she dearly loved. The divorce hurt her deeply. And now this current step dad she says “doesn’t get children.” He treats her like a toy to play with and then put away, and not be bothered with again until the next play time. She’s my only grandchild and I guess I do worry and hover too much, but she hasn’t had an easy life.

ryn: you assume i have a burner. and actually, i think i do, just not the software. SO. i can just email you mp3’s one by one.
