10 damn degrees!

Holy Crap.

It.Is.Cold. 

What else is there to talk about other than the cold? It is ten damn degrees out.  Tell me how this works– last week it was 70 degrees (an anomaly, yes) and the next morning there was snow on the ground.  Now this bitter freezing cold crap.  Should we even have to get out of bed? No, dammit, I think not.  It is too cold to function normally.  I’d never make it in Alaska.  Or Antarctica. I barely function in Pennsylvania.  I dream of the beach.  Any beach really.  I’m a Pisces you know.  I bet I’m developing Seasonal Affective Disorder.  Maybe I should get a tanning bed? ha!  The basement floods, where would I put it?  I had to change the washer rinse cycle to warm because the water was so cold the detergent wasnt dissolving.  Chunks of Tide in my wet, cold laundry.  It is too cold to cook dinner I say.  Pizza two nights in a row. It is cold now, so reheat it kids.  I’m going to bed now, with the space heater on, under 14 blankets. I’d like to set the alarm for next week.  Wake me when it is warm, and the butterflies are out.
