Stove Top Nose Stuffing

Work was pretty busy yesterday. Hopefully it continues, I would like some more hours, and to experience the legendary party that is said to happen if we get 3000 donors in a week. From what I’ve noticed we average 2400-2600. I felt really tired, because I was up Saturday night, and I’ve also deduced that I am getting sick, kind of. I’m just congested and perpetually on the edge of a sneeze, which is really annoying, but I’ll take it if that’s all that’s going to happen to me this time.

Several people came over last night. It was originally going to just be a friend and I playing Magic, I didn’t know what everyone else was up to. Said friend didn’t end up coming because he invited his girlfriend, and she was very un-cool last time, and I had to tell him not to bring her. I don’t blame him for staying home, since he had already invited her. Normally it would be fine, but this is the new me, the one who doesn’t deal with things, or put up with people who I’m not fond of. Not in my house, anyway. Instead, the roomies and a few others congregated at various points throughout the night. Even Jared and Kayla showed up, which was surprising but a lot of fun ultimately. Jessa, a friend of Skyler’s from school came over, she was pretty cute, haha. Although I wasn’t holding back at all, I generally tone down myself somewhat around new females generally. She seemed to fit in well enough, it’s nice to have someone a little more normal to bring a different dynamic to things. We watched Human Centipede, since a couple people hadn’t seen it. God, it’s such a bad movie, but I find it fairly amusing because of, well, how bad it is, and also the reallyreallyreally weird guy that plays the bad guy. He’s so…awkward, and zombie-like, and his mouth is always gaping open.

Afterward, we watched Super, which I had wanting to see since I’d learned of its existence. The dude who plays Dwight is a loser-ish guy who marries a recovering drug addict, only to lose her back to a drug dealer, and wants to become a superhero to get her back. That’s the basic premise, anyway. There are some comparisons to be made to Kick-Ass for sure. I liked both, though I liked this more. It gets pretty fucked up and brutal at times, especially toward the end. If you like your movies extra proof insane, you should check it out. I highly recommend it, I’m sure I liked it the most but everyone watching was frequently laughing and/or horrified.

Damn this stuffy nose. I’ve left only Spanish homework to do, then I’ll play a little League of Legends and head off to bed. I’m hoping to borrow a microphone from someone tomorrow so I can try making a quick Tips For Failure video for Black Friday, so that way it’d be topical. I also plan on seeing if Kayleen wants to go to sushi. Sushi, clearly the only way to see if a person is into you or not! All other foods fail to demonstrate such a capacity for love, simpleness, and dried seaweed. I’m thinking she’ll say yes, based on her recent behaviour; we’ll see! Stay tuned for an update that will probably be a week late when I post it, or something.

Is Kayleen the girl from class you’ve been talking about? Or did I miss something? I think I better figure out how to like sushi a.s.a.p if what you say is true 😉

ryn: Yeah I guess you’re right about the distractions, but it made me feel like my intention was to use him. I don’t feel that way when I’m out with friends in general..perhaps it’s all subconscious though.

Hope the girl says yes to sushi! And I guess I better learn to eat sushi, too.
