Killer Loop

Ugh. Today was all work. Got up at 6:30, got to Toys at 8, got out at 4:30, went to JC Penney at 5, got out of there at 9:40.

Toys is nice. I’m sad it’s closing, but really, if I could do what I’ve been doing this week, which is listening to music and casually throwing items in boxes in preparation to load them onto a truck, if I could do that every day, it’d be pretty sweet.

JC Penney wasn’t bad. I basically just alternated between following people around and helping out and sorting clothes/making everything look nice. There are definitely some cute chicks there, I thought Target had an absurd amount of reasonably attractive employees but JC Penney comes close to beating it. Not that it means anything really, and I still am pursuing Kaitlyn, but it’s nice to know, y’know. One of them has a familiar name…it might be the girl that Torrey was going to try to hook me up with before she got fired there. Hmm…I’m pretty sure it’s the girl I heard about. She’s pretty cute, kinda dorky, and I seemed to get along with her better than anyone else, so it’s probably correct. That place is like a maze, it’s horribly confusing trying to navigate it. There’s a giant circle on the second floor with the jewelry area in the middle, and on the bottom floor there are two circles, so…ugh. Plus there are stock rooms everywhere, and one room that has several exits. It’s interesting.

Getting up early is always a struggle. I wasn’t too horribly tired today. I feel like having a job where I’m always moving around will help out a lot. I am not a morning person, or at least I haven’t been in a while.

Not much else to say. Didn’t really get to text Kaitlyn since I was busy working all day. I’ll try to fix that tomorrow. If I don’t go to Portland this weekend, I’ve got to ask her to dinner, or to hang out, depending on the vibe.

Yup, that’s what I like about merchandising. Always moving around.
