Life goes on (smiles)
Aloha…
Looking back at the pages of my pen on paper journal for last year… it turns out that 2013 was sort of okay… health issues got a little bit better… finances got a lot better… new friends came into my life… and old friends remained…
Most recently… I spent New Years Eve with friends… attending a progressive dinner party… we went from house to house… first for appetizers… then the main course… then dessert… ended up playing Bunco at the last house… rang in the new year…
Living alone… no longer having any family… but blessed with a myriad of friends… I am becoming content (at long last)…
So… like the entry title says… Life goes on…!

Yes, life goes on. Every one of us has our highs and lows when it comes to life. We all have challenges to overcome and joy to savor. I’m glad you had a pretty good year last year. I bet you feel especially good that you are doing a bit better financially. That must be a good feeling.

Life goes on and we hopefully learn to find contentment… It’s been a very difficult lesson for me the last couple of years ….
