Fog
Aloha…
Yes… it’s cold out… the fog has rolled in… but I’ve decided it’s better to walk on the beach on a foggy day… than not to… (smiles)

It sure does get cold on foggy days near the coast. Â Stay warm!

I love fog. It feels so mysterious and it blocks out the world.

Can we get a quantified definition of “cold”? Like a number?
@principassapollyanna  Well… I left a long note for you the other day… but it has disappeared… so here goes again… when I lived on the island… and when asked about the temperature… I would tell people that days were 85f… and at night the temperature would plummet down to 75f (smiles)… here on the coast at this time of year… days are in the high 50s… the nights the low 40s… so really not too bad… in fact where I live on the coast… we are often the warmest part of the state during the winter… and the coolest part during the summer…
@mauijim my oldest son and DIL were at Joint Base Pearl for three years. Their youngest was about six months old when they moved there. He is not adapting well at all to the mainland requirement to wear shoes in cooler weather. The oldest one considered any temps under 75 “too cold to leave the house” while they lived there.
@principassapollyanna  I understand perfectly… as I felt the same way when I returned to the mainland…
