You asked
I’ve had several people ask me over time how I’ve managed to lose weight. What I’ve been eating. How do I exercise etc. I haven’t kept a journal of everything I’ve eaten because honestly I just can not be bothered and I don’t really keep that close an eye on what I eat.
But since you’ve asked I will try and lay out a typical day in my life food wise. (it’s really rather boring).
For breakfast most days (sometimes I don’t even eat breakfast) I will have a bowl of Raisin bran and 2% milk. Other days I will have a Nature Valley Granola Bar (2 bars) or maybe a bagel with cream cheese on it.
I drink water off an on during the day. I don’t keep track and usually have 2 or 3 opened bottles going all over the place lol
For lunch I will have a pita with chicken, tomato, onion, mayo, and pickle with a small bowl of lite cottage cheese or maybe a salad and ham sandwich.
Supper usually consists of chicken or pork (cooked various ways) a vegetable or some kind, (red peppers, green peppers, cauliflower, broccoli whatever I find in the fridge lol)
If I snack during the day which most times I don’t I will have a little salsa and tortilla chips or rice cakes or crackers.
Some days I eat at Wendy’s and have a grilled chicken sandwich with a baked potato and a bottle of water.
I do not eat at fast food restaurants that don’t offer low fat items. I haven’t had pizza since last year. I haven’t had chocolate, potato chips, candy, cake, brownies etc since last year and honestly it does not bother me.
I eat an apple a day, take a Daily-One vitamin and drink 1 cup of green tea per day.
As for exercise I walk 2 miles a day or 12 miles a week. I give myself a day off. Sometimes I take more than 1 day off but that’s okay too. I’m not going to be too hard on myself.
My husband and daughter go about eating what they used to and that doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t bother me if she stops at McDonalds and gets fries. I’m beyond wanting them anymore. However if I ever do get the urge to have fries I’m going to because they won’t kill me unless I revert back to my old ways of eating them almost every damn day. That’s how I blew up to be 252 lbs in the first place.
Anyway that’s my story. I don’t eat the same foods everyday but along the same lines, if that makes sense.
Describing that pita thing made me drool all over myself.

oh and the fries- at my work they have those thick steak cut fries only without the peel, and they used to season them SO WELL -drools all over self some more-. The boys would eat them with this nasty soggy cheese stuff and kecthup and extra salt and I didnt understand how they could eat THAT and I would have the little serving with no cheese or anything and bloat up the next day 🙁

That pita does wonders, I seen it where like it helps you lose a lot of stuff. How long did it take you, to finally not get tempted by all of that stuff?? I really need to learn to restrain from them! You’re doing great, & I should write some of this stuff down. =P Keep up the awesome work!!! xoxoxo
