Good day
Do you have days where you feel good about yourself and then the very next day you can feel like total crap even though nothing has changed?
Ya, that’s me. Yesterday I felt pretty blah about myself despite the 2lb loss this week. Today I feel thinner, healthier, and have more spunk. This frame of mind makes it so much easier to drink my water, stay on track and go forward.
I need to decide what we’re having for dinner. I can’t decide. I hate making dinner. I really do. I need some quick easy low fat recipes. Anyone care to share their favourites?

Hmmm I guess I don’t really know how many calories is in most fruit, but I would guess there are somewhere around 250 or 300 calories in the smoothie… 100 for yogurt, 35 for the juice and the rest is fruit…It makes quite a bit, though! 🙂 Also, good job on the weight loss I am very impressed!

I hate cooking too. I use a lot of the recipes on kraftfoods.com under the healthy living catagory. Sign up for their meal & fitness planner and it weekly menus that have good ideas. Try their easy chicken pot pie, unstuffed cabbage skillet, or Creamy Basil & red pepper pasta (those are my favs). http://www.24hourfitness.com/html/nutrition/ is another good site.

I am constantly searching for low fat meals. A lot of times when I do a search for low fat meals, it will come up with hospital websites and their meals are usually pretty good. I also make chicken nuggets using crunched up cornflakes. I just dip the chopped up chicken in a little milk and coat it with cornflakes, garlic & a little pepper then bake for 45 minutes.

Hey, I have a couple of weight watchers cook books and they have some really good recipes… you might try searching for them on amazon or ebay? They have everything too… like breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, it is really cool. Anywho, congrats on the weight loss so far!!

practically fat-free fruit trifle: layer angelfood cake, chopped fruit (i use grapes, nectarines, peaches, strawberries, bananas, blueberries–whatever’s available and not too juicy), and fatfree, sugarfree instant pudding mixed with either nonfat yogurt or fatfree coolwhip (skim milk’s fine, too). add 3/4 tsp.orange peel to the pudding or cake mix for added taste, if you have it on hand.

Do you notice any difference on those vitamins? Just curious – it’s not like I’ll stop using the bottle I bought, I’m just impressed that they were the same price. I take the calcium for two – no, three reasons. I *hate* milk – can’t stand the taste of it at all , I’ve heard it’s good for weight loss, and the doctor said that I don’t get enough calcium with a daily yogurt, so she..
