Food Log


wow !!! if you dont mind me asking, what king of eating lifestyle do u go by? u have a loss every week!!! u are amazing!! i was wondering if u could help me out!

Today’s menu:
.

Breakfast :

  • 1 bowl of raisin bran cereal with 1% milk.
  • bottle of water

.
Snack

.

  • Hershey’s Smart Zone bar

.

Lunch
.

  • 1/2 pita with tuna, mayo, onion, salt, pepper.
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese low fat
  • Bottle of water

Snack

.

  • Handful of bbq flavoured mini rice cakes

.
.

Dinner

  • 2 small chicken breasts
  • bowl of salad (lettuce, carrots, red onion, cabbage) with low fat dressing
  • grilled veggies – green, red, yellow peppers and mushrooms
  • Bottle of water

Snack
.

  • To be determined but will probably be cherry yogurt with bran (I don’t eat enough fibre in my other foods so I tend to need more)
  • Water and or green tea

I also take a multivitamin once a day.

Work outs at the gym include

.

  • 30 mins of cardio
  • 15 mins of circuit training
  • 15 mins of free weights

That’s a typical day for me. I don’t count calories. I don’t restrict myself. If I want something sinful I eat it but in moderation. The key to my success is portion control. I don’t eat at fast food restauants. Those places are jam packed with fat. The majority of food in our house is low fat. I don’t see a difference taste wise in low fat/regular fat content foods so I buy low fat. .

That is awesome! I’m so happy to see someone taking off the pounds in a healthy way. Too many people look for quick fixes these day.

That looks like a great menu! Just enough food. I really need to stop snacking – that’s my biggest issue. How do you not snack so much?! You are doing so great – you are my hero! haha.

That is great that you don’t need to count anything. I guess I will end up like that, but for now, I have to count points just to keep my head happy 🙂
