Following the band wagon – answers

I decided to jump on the bandwagon and follow the crowd so……because everyone else is doing it..I will too.

Ask me anything you want and I will answer as honestly as I can.  Questions can be private or public..your choice but I will NOT post your name if you ask in private.  Go ahead..ask away.

What is the one thing that tempts you the most? [Kristin08]

Hot wings and french fries. My hubby LOVES hot wings from Montana’s. We usually go there on the weekends and I find myself always wanting "just 1 wing".  I’d really love to sit there and eat the whole plate of them though.

What’s been the hardest part about your journey through your weight loss? Do you feel more energy now? [GrowingIntoMe]

The hardest part is wanting immediate results. I’ve lost close to 100 lbs and yet I still feel fat. I don’t know if this feeling will ever subside. It’s hard to imagine I’m about 25 lbs from my ultimate goal. When I started this back in January I would have never thought I’d be 25 lbs away from my goal. I figured I could lose about 25 and then end up back where I started. I’m really, really proud of myself for sticking with it. It’s not a diet to me it’s just a healthier way of eating and exercising. I do eat sinful foods. I don’t count calories. I don’t obsess if I’ve eaten something sinful. I’d fail for sure if I did.

As for energy…hell ya. I have a ton more energy now. It’s amazing how lazy I was. How I didn’t want to go anywhere because I had nothing to wear and didn’t want to have to walk in front of people.  Now I don’t have to worry about that. I don’t feel like I stick out in the crowd for being so grossly obese.

What is your biggest motivation for losing weight? And what was the turning point that made you decided that this time was going to be the time you really lost weight? Was it a moment or just a certain stage of your life?

I’m pretty sure you’ve done this before, but I can’t find the entry.. here is a question: Exactly what did you do to lose so much weight?! Give us a typical day of eating for you, and roughly what you do for exercise weekly. I am so motivated by you, and how well you have been doing.. consistently, I need to jump back on the losing weight bandwagon!
