Fair Food

Last evening my daughter, hubby, hubby’s granddaughter and myself went to the fair. We went in the early evening so we could catch the demolition derby (best part of the fair). When we arrived the stadium was already packed so we ended up standing to watch it. My feet were killing me by the time we left. Standing on your feet in the same spot for 4 hours is not fun. I had fun though despite my aching feet.

I don’t know how people who have jobs like cashiers do it. I really don’t. I see why they have those fat foam pads under their feet. It would be hell without it.

Anyway before we got our spot at the stadium we wandered around. O M G the food smelled so so so good. There is something about fair food that is to die for.  I could smell those smells any other time of the year and it wouldn’t faze me but smelling it at the fair is just heaven. Hubby decided he wanted fries so he got a large fry. They smelled so so good. I had about 3 of them. I could have eaten a family pack by myself but I resisted. That’s the only food I ate there. 3 fries. :):)

Yesterday afternoon we went to Walmart and I bought a George Foreman like Grill. It’s not George Foreman but it’s a knock off version. I made grilled veggies and stuffed pitas last night when we got home. They were awesome and so easy to make and healthy which is the best part 🙂  I plan on using it a lot.

Have a great Sunday everyone. I’m having a good one. I’m lazy today. Haven’t even changed out of my pj’s yet. I love those days 🙂
September 30 Mini Goal – it’s getting close. Time to buckle down 🙂

oh my goodness! You went to the fair and only ate 3 fries? Are you a saint?

I don’t even have one of those fat foam pads under my feet, only a thin mat thing. Bah. How did you only eat 3 fries?!? Wow. You are my idol!
