Exactly what did you do to lose so much weight?! Give us a typical day of eating for you, and roughly what you do for exercise weekly.

The biggest thing I did was stop eating fast food. That stuff is sinfully evil. I’ll be honest and tell you I’m fairly lazy. Now that my daughter is older and working she’s not often home for dinner so a quick fix would be a run to Wendy’s, McD’s, Pizza etc. All the bad fast food places. A sub just wasn’t "enough" when I could go to McD’s and get fries, burger and a drink for the same price as a sub. So that’s basically what we did.

Since  I stopped going out for food and started eating more healthy choices at home I noticed the weight start to come off effortlessly. Once I got below 200 I joined a gym. There was no way I was going to the gym weighing more than 200. I had never gone to a gym before so I was a little nervous. Now I go to the gym 5 times a week and work out for about 90 mins (give or take) each day. I love it. I’m addicted to exercising lol

A typical day food wise for me would go something like this (previously posted)

I don’t count calories so I have no idea how many I’ve consumed.

Breakfast

Protein bar and 1/2 cup of fat free strawberry yogurt with granola on top.   Bottle of water.

Lunch

1 pita cut in two stuffed with green & red pepper, 2 slices of roasted chicken, deli style, pickles, onion and fat free mayo. Handful of rice cakes (small round ones) Bottle of water

Snack – couple of jelly beans because hubby was eating them infront of me 

Dinner

1 baked chicken leg, small serving of corn, a huge bowl of caesar salad with calorie reduced fat free dressing, small bowl of cottage cheese, bottle of water

Snack will be a cup of green tea with some pretzels or something like that.

Exercise

30 mins on treadmill @ 3.9 mph incline 5

15 mins on treadmill @ 3.9 mph incline 10.

10 mins on elliptical level 1. 

30 mins of circuit training (weights, stretching, stairmaster etc)

i have an addiction to the carmel flavored rice cakes. oh man….they are like 60 cals a serving (a serving is like 7 of them too). not bad at all.

Thanks for answering my question! I don’t know how you work out 90 minutes a day, 5 days a week. That is insane.. good insane though! Good for you. Exercise AND eating right is a problem for me. I can usually do one or the other fairly well, for awhile.
