I finally had a day to myself. I sat on the patio outside and soaked up the sun. It was fabulous. Then Eric and I went to the market. It was meh…not really something to write home about but I did get some bananas for $49 c a pound. I love bananas.

I can’t believe in 1 more year I will have no more children in school. Where did the last 18 years go. Seriously that is a sad thought. My kids are grown up and have their own identities now and their own social lives and their own little lives. It makes me proud to know they are surviving in this world.

Josh scored a good job with the city for the summer. As long as he is in school he is guaranteed the job so he’s thinking about taking another course after next year to secure his job. ?!?!

We have new neighbours. Man is the husband ever a gossip monger. Already he’s peeking over the fence when we are out talking about stupid shit. Maybe he’s just lonely. who knows.

It was hot today I was planning on going to the beach for a walk along the trail but it was just too hot. I may do that tonight. Nothing like the sound of water splashing on the shore while a cool breeze blows.

I’ve lost about 41 lbs since Jan. I can’t believe I still have a bit to go. I can’t believe I let myself gain all that stupid ugly weight back. Oh well, can’t change it now, just gotta keep on doing what I’m doing.

Oh ya, I’m doing a 60 KM walk in september. It’s to raise money for women’s cancers. I have to walk 30 km one day and 30 the next. I have been practicing but haven’t done 30 k all at once. It’s going to be tough but I signed up to do it and have raised about $1500 or the $2000 I have to raise in order to walk.   I’m having a car wash next week and a bake sale as well. Hopefully that will generate some cashola.   If anyone wants to donate my page is here  I HATE CANCER  

A few of my favs are expecting babies any day now. I can’t wait to see baby Olivia.  Steph was due a few days ago and still has not had her. Keeping her in my thoughts that she has an easy labour. xoxoxo I love me some Steph.

After Steph is Laura. She’s expecting Alice in a few weeks. Can’t wait to see little Alice too.

and then Holly….sweet Holly. I don’t know the sex of her baby yet so I’ll just wait til she tells us.
