RYN: I have 32 Facebook friends left, so I understand where you’re coming from. I can’t imagine anyone my age (my sister-in-law will be 50 in a couple of weeks) having that many real friends. My son, who’s 30, on the other hand, has added everyone he knows including people who work at the computer gaming company where he works, people he knows from the internet sites that center around that computer gaming company, people from the city where I live (he moved 10 years ago), people who’ve moved to other places: you get the picture. So may acquaintances. My daughter, who is 4 years older, has fewer friends but married into a large family (her husband is the youngest of 6 children) and so has a lot more family on it, a few of whom are my Facebook “friends” as well. I like it for keeping in touch with what people living outside my town are doing. I assume once I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where my son lives, when I retire, I will want to follow some people from here to see what *they’re* up to. Or maybe Facebook will have given way to something entirely different by then (probably).
I think the flowers wore off because I kneel down a lot with Cameron and with Layla and possibily because I didn’t wax them enough right after Layla was born. IT’s a shame because it ruins the look, but the boots are really a good buy and I don’t regret it at all. I’ll just black the toes in I think. The good thing about them is that they really don’t slip.
hehe

They needed quite a bit of breaking in, but are without doubt my favourite shoes. Unfortunately the flowers have worn off the toes thoug
