RYN: Yeah, I saw him only in waistcoat, shirtsleeves etc, but you probably think of him as wearing a suit. A lot of body language happening – nice to see. “Strip the willow” would be good actually – you have to concentrate and maybe people would bond .. *sigh* it’s a dream…

I wish I could believe what you little silver box says, but I know it’s not true.
Your humour is astounding! I think in pictures and I just ‘see’ these hilarious situations you descirbe to us. One day Trooper will put you on the collar and lead and ‘now come on Marg, that’s a good girl…..’ You seem to have a Madam Procastinator too – I tidy when I avoid things I don’t want to do or feel nervous about. Even things I do want to do sometimes gets delayed because of Madam Procastinator. Likewise, I tend to get my ideas when out somewhere with no resources to make notes etc. Catching up is a bu**er! When the Muse does get past Madam Procastinator then everything is abandoned apart from the creativity. I just do not know how I live with all these ‘people’ that surround me! (that IS me!!). Hope you are well and very best wishes, A
You wearing a collar and lead – now there’s a thought 😉 lol And yea for organised bookshelfs

This had me chuckling in sympathy all the way through; I so recognised myself here! (But I’ve never felt so overwhelmed I’ve been reduced to cleaning out my cupboards!) Congratulations on all you’ve achieved to date in your course, in spite of procrastination.
This is me to a T, never have time to do the ” unneccessary things ” like just writing on here or reading. Love the collar and lead idea, good mental image going on LOL
I am very impressed with how much writing you are getting done! I bet getting into a habit thanks to your course has really helped. It inspires me to stop dilly-dallying around on the internet and follow your lead! I want to read that Bill Bryson book — and I JUST read an old Stephen Fry novel- The Hippopotamus. I’d had it for YEARS, and forgotten all about it then suddenly found it right there on my bookcase after we’d been watching A Bit of Fry and Laurie and I started wondering what happened to that book I bought by him ages ago. (Obviously my bookcases could use some straightening up.) I think I’d started it when I bought it but didn’t get very far in it before abandoning it. It took a little while to get going this time too but when I did get into it I REALLY liked it. All this to say I want to read more by him.
And poor Trooper! I wonder why he has a fear of spaniels? Although my grandparents had a cocker spaniel when I was a child and I was terrified of him- he was very bad-tempered. Maybe Trooper knew his relatives. I am SO behind on OD that I don’t think I’ll ever catch up.
RYN: Just in case you are still looking for a publication to write for – have a look at the brilliant MsLexia – the only magazine written solely y women. Their criteria for publication is available online. I used this one when I did the Creative Writing course with the OU and still read MsLexia now.

RYN_____ I have not heard anything back from you regarding the entry i wrote possible being used in your autism magazine. Could you let me know if this is still going to happen? Many thanks

Lol! I think we all behave like Trooper when it comes to piles of work/obligations etc. Which is why the web is so popular, I reckon 😉

I think everybody is wary of spaniels! When we had Sam he was so noisy and extrovert that people and other dogs just stepped back. Not like me at all!

Clarkson on your shelf!!!! Shhh!

OD does take up a lot of time. Especially if you have lots of friends to catch up with. : )
