Porkulus

Well, yesterday, the President signed the Porkulus bill in Denver.  I have to admit that while I think this bill could help the economy, and it is most certainly going to bring in change, I feel very uneasy about the way it was passed.  What was the rush?  Why could the politicians not have time to read the bill?  That to me is terrifiying.  And what’s worse is that I feel all of the democrats spent last night smoking a fine Gurkha Black Dragon and celebrating that they Won again.  Yikes!

You have people all over the country protesting this bill and where the money is going.  It’s like a flashing neon sign demonstrating that people don’t like where this money is going.  I am quite fearful that the billions and billions are being spent in places of the politicians interest rather than helping this nation.  Corruptions is from the ground up.  Looking at Cnn’s chart, I see that the largest amount is going towards energy and the environment.  Is that our highest priority?   I guess people who sell eco products like these are in good shape for the future.  But overall, I just see a lot of pet projects happening.  Scary.

Every administration thinks they have a blank check. No one really asked where 300 million dollars a day went to into Iraq which helped make the 10 trillion dollar debt. 790 billion is no walk in the park, but as long as we can see a little change with this it will be better than the trillions wasted.I’m hoping with you that it works, because that is all we can do at this stage of the process.
