Hollywood to Childhood

I’m amazed at how much Hollywood has an influence over the youth of our nation.  What children see on the big screen for the most part equals truth in their lives.  This is such a shame because so much of what is put out there in movies are complete lies.  So, children are raised to believe them.  This places a great strain on parents to not only guard their children, but to speak truth into their lives, so that the children have a filter of truth.

The influence is seen in many aspects.  The clothes they wear and toys they play with.  The parties they want.  The music they listen to and even their language.  It’s quite impressive.  I am not a parent yet, but when I become one, I want to be well prepared.
