The enemy within
this is my off and on bf. He takes up other women but always comes back to me and I take him back. He is trying to get back with again and of course I haven’t learned my lesson.
He’s currently building a small home in a container box with windows and doors with a wood stove. He plans on living off the grid. Well except for Starlink for internet. Got to run the fire stick. The property is on Lake Superior . There is no electricity and you have to have wind power or solar. He has a 30 foot tower and plans to put a wind turbine on it. Sound appealing yet?
why do I get myself into this guy?
Curious what he’s doing for water/plumbing, indoor or outdoor toilet? Knowing how much snow they get there, it sounds unappealing to live there year-round. But to each their own.

he is thinking of the compost toilet. Right now he has an outhouse. He has a handheld pump for water. Stove heat’s water for a bath for a tub. Once he gets his cabin built he will have a septic system with a better in door pump. He has a propane fridge and he will get a propane tank.
