More Maile!

So, Mom and I went to the bead store again… the beads were 30% off so I kind of went wild. ::grins:: I have a lot of beads now, both in 6mm and 4mm.  Granted, when I got home I Realized I had only one shade of orange and one shade of purple.

But I spent a little time in the store… I’m working on getting inventory right now.  I made some new pieces tonight. Soo… more pictures.

That’s a captive weave again… just like the green one, but it’s smaller; only 6mm rings and 4mm beads.  The bead color’s a dark blue, called capri.  I bought a lot of those beads.

Those are a pair of flower bracelets; I wanted to see how the came color bead would look in the gunmetal and the silver.  I like it.  It’s a bright yellow with a shimmer.  I kind of think it would have been better without the shimmer.

That’s the bracelet that kept me up all night last night… it’s the captive inverted round weave, 8mm rings, 6mm bead.  The crystal beads are a ruby color.

See, pretty!

Oh shit that is so tight! So I was thinking about the mail, maybe some big bracelet type with snaps on the clasp? I would like it thick so you cant see skin under if that is possible and maybe black rings making a pattern?? Those captive ones are sexy maybe I could get some of those if you cant do the bracelet? Just let me know I will just ship you cash via SF he has this big box for you if you like?? Love, J_S

I think the first is my favorite. I love the shininess, and the color of the beads, though the second is very original. I don’t think I’ve seen something like that before (I’ve seen a bit, David’s mom does it). RYN: It’s hard to explain, but I’m not one to switch jobs so quickly, I’m a rut guy, so needed to bail on this one after not even two years really bothers me. I feel like I failed, despite the fact that I was pretty much set up to fail anyway. It’s annoying, but I feel better now that I’m actively working to get out. One of my favorite things about making sock monkeys, is how so many people tell me about ones they had when they were really little. I never had one as a kid, but I’m so glad that I can help make lots of good memories for people. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Lots of hugs, John
