Evening Times!

Mom and I went to Lakefair tonight, along with Catrina, Podling, and Podling’s cousins.  It was interesting… just interesting. ::shakes her head:: I would have had more fun if it was just MOm and me, but we had fun anyways.  stopped at our local comic store (I think Triple Play’s better, Court), and picked up a couple more RIFTs books.

Work was work like.  But I made a lot of progress today. ^_^ I paid most of my bills,  set up my audio book queue, looked up a couple things, and got information on a few bazaars. ::grin::

I’m going to turn in my money tomorrow for a spot in a local craft bazaar; it’ll be here in Oly / Lacey on Dec 4th, 35 dollars for a booth.  So it’s affordable and a good way for me to get an idea.  There’s another one in Bothell, on the third weekend of November, but that’s about 2 hours away… I want to go to that one too, but I don’t know if I can get the inventory in time. So I’ll hit the local one this year, and then next year I’ll see about going to more.

I also checked into all the local events – Farmers Market I’ll have to apply in January and show off my stuff to the council.  – Arts Walk, I’ll have to apply in Feburary and need to have a business sponsor me, which won’t be a problem.  – Lakefaire, I’ll have to apply in April and it’ll cost me 250.00 for a booth but there’s a niche that I fill that isn’t being filled… so I’m going to definitely have a chance to do good business.  ::stretches:: There’s also the Thurston County Fair (August is the deadline, 350 dollar booth), and Flea Markets… so I think this is going to work.

Oh! The Table!  I mentioned it on the bus and the bus driver said he and his wife are trying to sell one, and so I might have that taken care of.  I love my bus drivers.

Okay, time to go do maile and watch T.V. and such.

Much love!

$35 is an awesome price for the booth! $350 would scare me, but I’m easily scared. I’m sure you can do it! If you don’t happen to get a table from the bus driver, David says that Walmart.com has folding ones (easier to fit in the car) that are only $35. You can do site to store with them as well. Just keep an eye on what they do with the tax. RYN: David is an amazing guy, I KNOW I’m lucky to have him! I’m very glad his family cooperated this year too, he deserved it. If the maile will be silver, then I’ll probably go with a dark gray for the monkey. That way, the detail of the maile will stand out. I have some ideas, and I have plenty of time this weekend to try them out. Also, any questions you can think of, I’ll do my very best to answer. David as well, since he does a lot of the non-monkey making things. Lots of hugs, John
