DePhoMo #7 (Nature)

I took this picture while on the same vacation that I took the last one.  These are the Blueridge Mountains.  My aunt lives near them and we took a drive on the parkway to see… they’re just beautiful, aren’t they?

I figured they’d make a better picture than nature outside today. It’s going to get cold.  And I don’t like cold.

Man, I love the cold. Ryn: I have lost players because my games get too political and complicated. In a campaign which got derailed by two of my players because they couldn’t keep up one character had something like 50 plots revolving around him and another had about 20 … the people who couldn’t handle it only had around 5, but apparently that is too much for some.

ryn: Yes, that same campaign’s main theme was the consequences of one’s actions – personally, politically, socially, whatever the case may be. One of my players who didn’t make the cut complained that if she wanted there to be consequences for her actions she’d live in the real world … to each their own, I guess. She did, however, LOVE the Star Wars game I ran in which there were few

overarching plots which weren’t immediately apparent and she could kick but with only minimal concern for the repercussions. Me, I got tired of that game after awhile because it offered very little intellectual stimulation and ultimately was becoming a “monster of the week” scenario. Sure there was plenty of characterization, but nothing too complex – so as not to strain anyone.

I seriously love pictures like these. I feel like this one is particularly desktop worthy! RYN: Writing all the stuff I want to do is easy. Doing it all is relatively easy, but actually sticking to it all semester is the hard part. I always find something to distract me :-p
