This won’t be a long entry, I thinks.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately. Court and I didn’t talk yesterday at my request, and I spent it thinking about things.

I feel better than I have in ages.

I’ve got a plan for my jewelry, a few directions I want to go, and an idea of how to get there. When John gets Laptop Jack either fixed or replaced, I think I’m going to ask to pick his brain for advice and help in starting up the business. He and David seem to have it under control and in a good way.

I need to check craigslist for a table for gaming, and I need to get in touch with the landlord for the agreement that allows Mom and I to drywall the wall we want. I also need to go through my stuff in my room and figure out what to pack away in storage and what I need to keep out. Court will be here soon.

I got tickets to see the Airborne Toxic Event again, this time in September, and I’m excited. I got a ticket for me, and one for Court. I think we’ll make a weekend of it and run away, turning off the phones and whatnot. I’ve been needing an escape.

There’s 66 days to ATE (according to Guppy), which means there’s only 44 or so days to PAX, and even less for Court’s move… I think there’s um… 34 days till he’s expected to be up here. o.o Holy shit. I need to get my ass in gear!

I’ve looked up information for getting a booth at Lakefair next year, and also looked up Arts Walk and Craft Bazaars. My goal next year is to get a booth in both big events, and at least 3 others, be them bazaars, farmers market, flea markets, or Ren Faires. I need to get inventory together, specially if I can get into the Holiday Bazaar in October/November.

The good news is that Laptop Jack is getting fixed *right* now. He’s in about a million little pieces, but in the hands of an expert. I’ll be happy to answer whatever questions you want… though I will admit that I don’t know too much about jewelry or the trends in that market. Oh, Airbone Toxic Event, I love them! I hope you have a great time! RYN: I’ll be happy to make a knight monkey for you! Since you’re going to be doing a chain shirt for him, is there any particular size that you would need him to be? Or would you like him have his arms and legs one color and his body another? Gray is not problem at all for me to find, my only worry with that would be that I make sure to get a color that would highlight your work. I would hate for it to blend in too much so people couldn’t see all of the details. David ordered 250 business cards a while ago, not realizing exactly how many that was. We have a whole box of them still, and I’m sure he won’t mind parting with however many you would like. Lots of hugs, John PS. I should have photos of the two finished monkeys tomorrow.

OMG I like, sign on and its like PABOOM people totally hooked you up! I saw your note and I think I like, shit myself!! I called SF and I think I broke his ear squealing because that was so fucking nice. I mean I know SF has cool peeps but you just hooked me up and that blows my mind. I mean, NOBODY does nice shit like that anymore! well, ok, so maybe SF and his circle of awesome. So hey uh, I know this is sketch and all, but I cant just let you give me a sub w/o doing something in return so can I like buy a bracelet? I dont have a card or anything I want to have SF use his but he was like ‘eeehhhhh’ so maybe I can like send you some bills??
