Dont break it Dont forget it

You will have to excuse the lack of apostrophes in this entry because the key on the keyboard isnt working – I blame the fact that Jex uses Firefox instead of IE.

Training wentis going (backslashes arent working either) very well and Im on the schedule this week officially.  The biggest challenge is figuring out what all the dishes look like and are supposed to come with, and then not dropping things when bussing tables.  I am only making minimum waitressing wage (very low) but tips are good and Ill pick up more hours as I get more experience.  Im also going to get a lifeguarding class started soon so that will bring in some more money as well; Im hoping to actually register two classes at once so I can get things paid off and get a car.

Jex and I wanted to do some fairs this season but by the time we started hanging again most were over.  Theres still the Dhm Fair next weekend and the Riverville Fair in October…but if anyone knows of any others not found on our states site, or any rennscottishother themed ones in the area let me know please?!

Im psyched to get to know the people I work with – theyre really nice in a "not fake with you" kind of way – if you get in their way when theyre carrying crazy heavy stuff theyll say move and dont bother with the niceties.

This week Im working Wednesday and Saturday  if anyone wants to visit!

I totally would, but I also work Wednesday and Saturday. It sounds like things are coming together for you. I’ll definately let you know if I hear of a fair.

Oh man! When IS the Riverville fair this year? I mean, which days? I’m DYING to go, but I don’t know if I can reasonably drag the Captain that far for a simple country fair.
