today was the day

I had my surgery this morning. Everything went well. I’m sore, but not in too much pain. I’m just so thirsty, which works out because all I can have are clear liquids: jello, broth, tea, and juice is what I’ve been getting for "meals". And for hospital food, it isn’t bad! The jello was fantastic, actually. Yes, I’m staying overnight for obsercvation. That’s just how my surgeon wants it. It stinks, but at least I can get pain meds when I need them. And I’m up and moving about, using this computer! There is a "dayroom" here that has this computer, DVD’s I can take back to my room (it’s a private room with a DVD player even!). This is definitely a nicer hospital than Florida Hospital, I’m in ORMC. My room even has a murphy bed (one of the beds that fold up into the wall!) in case someone spent the night with me. But everyone is at home, awaiting my arrival tomorrow! But I am doing well! (Percocet is kicking in!)
