Spring

Spring has sprung, and I am very happy about that! The winter was awful, and it made me so depressed. Danny was only home for 5 weeks, through the holidays, then went right back to working out of town. That was hard. But I put on my smile and dealt with it as best I could. He gets so upset when he leaves, I know if I did too it would kill him. Then, two weeks ago we got some good-ish news…

He’ll be home until June or July! He has to go to PA for his yearly eval later this month for 2 nights, but he’ll be at home otherwise! He’s not just sitting home, unemployed, he’s working in his store here while he’s home. Actually, his store here is covered up with managers so he’s working in a store that really needs some. He’s getting tons of experience he really needs, and he’s really happy. This is so good for him!

Jenna is so happy to have her daddy home! She’s such a happy girl when she has her family together! I try to stay positive while he’s gone, but I guess she senses it isn’t right anyways. She’s such an amazing girl. She amazes me everyday! She’s so smart, learning new words and phrases everyday! She had a few spells over the winter with unexplained fevers and stomach pyrotechnics. But she’s been relatively healthy. I just hate that anytime she’s not feeling 100%, she refuses to eat. Well, refuses to eat anything except blueberries! She’s gonna turn into a blueberry like Violet on Willy Wonka! LoL She loves playing outside, and she loves antagonizing out kitties when she’s inside. She loves her babies and any kind of balls. And shoes! I call her Imelda Marcos, the girl has so many shoes! LoL

I could go on all day about her, but I’ll spare you! LoL I’m just happy to have my family together again!

I wish I had a flat spot in my yard. I really want to do some gardening in raised beds. But there is no flatness to my property. I need the weather to warm up, and stay warm, so I can do some work in my flower beds. I’ve lived here 2 years and all we’ve managed to do is keep the grass cut… barely! I just want to tidy up my yard and make it look like the people who live here actually care about it!
