Laundry Day!

NOT! I wish I could to my laundry. But the washer decided to quit working last night. Dad said he’s gonna go buy a new one on Friday so he can have it delivered. This sucks! I have towels and sheets and clothes that are all dirty and I do NOT want to go to a laundromat here. These ones kinda scare me.

My checks came in the mail yesterday. But still no ATM card. I’m thinking it may come today. Fucked up thing about my checks though is that they didn’t give me a checkbook cover. So now I hafta find an old one. No biggie I guess…

The weather cooled off here overnight. It was 88 yesterday and today it’s only gonna be like 68. GOOD! I was ready to be out of 90 degree heat.

I went to lunch with Amy & Chris yesterday. We caught up some things. Talked about work and high school. It was good. Then we went to the mall for Amy to look for something. There’s a new store there. It’s called TeeVee. It sells all those “as seen on tv” things. I thought it was pretty neat. They have something there that I know Pete would have wanted. lol! Silly boy! And they’re also building one of his all-time favourite restaurants next to the mall. Too bad he’ll never get to go there… well, this IS Orlando… he may end up there someday. Oh well…

I bought safety glasses yesterday so I HAVE to finish sanding that wall today so we can start laying the tile in there.

Before my mom left this morning she came into my room. I was kind of sleeping but not. She gave me a kiss on the cheek and said “I really like having my Marcie home”. I was like so happy she did that! It was totally unexpected. I love my mom!

I’m gonna go for now… veg out for a while.
