Damn Mosquitos…

My legs are chewed up! It’s awful, I look like I have chicken pox. I don’t, of course, but the mosquitos were eating me alive on the 4th. I itch like crazy.

Alaine & Dane came over for the 4th. We cooked hotdogs on the new grill my dad got for his birthday… which was the 3rd. So, we had hot dogs, potato salad, corn on the cob, and potato chips. Alaine brought cookies, those really good soft sugar cookies with the icing and sprinkles. Yum!

There were fireworks up at the high school. We were able to see them from our house, the high school is only a block away. Nothing spectacular though. Pittsburgh had the best fireworks last year at the Three Rivers’ Regatta. I guess maybe I got a little spoiled? Who knows…

The only good place down here to see fireworks is Red Hot & Boom down in Altamonte Springs. But who wants to fight through a crowd of 60,000+ people. I’m not kidding, there really are that many people! They have a free concert and everything. But it’s just not worth the drive, the traffic, and the crowd for a 10 minute show.

Yesterday evening Alaine, Dane, & I went down to Pointe Orlando to go to FAO Schwartz. It was hot and muggy (gotta love summer in FL!) but we had a great time. We got lots of candy at the candy shop.

Im gonna go do something productive now. Ciao!
