Monday (over Friday)
Mondays are tough for squeezing in an official workout.
Work all day and immediately to World Cafe Live to shoot Philly Rising, then after hours at Fergies as a spectator. It grounds me.
But what I do squeeze in:
-Walk instead of taking a train/cab. Fast pace.
-When sitting on a chair, hold in some stretch poses for lower back, butt, calves… no matter how silly looking.
-When standing (shooting or just waiting) stand on one foot. Make one ankle work to keep the balance. This can be done subtley.
-When sitting on a stool, keep the lower back upright, relax the shouders. Remind yourself this as often as possible.
If I do these things, it’s still a little bit of a workout. And the entire night is recharge for the soul.
