Life, v2.0

{satire}
Next, from Evolutionary Arts- creators of the Sims-like cyber hit “Life: Neanderthal Village,” comes the much-anticipated release “Life: Beyond Eden”.

While this next generation game does not improve on graphics or sound- those items already being of high quality- characters gain one interesting trait:
free will.

You will no longer be able to use a joystic, control pad, or keyboard to directly interact with your characters. You will need to manipulate their environment, place subtle clues, find other characters they like and somehow coax them to help direct your character to the desired goals.

Good luck!

From what recent science tells us, the Matrix is not too far off the mark. We live in a universe that’s not an absolute reality. Relative to our senses (or our 4-layered biosuits, as they are referred to in the excellent, thought-provoking, docudrama ‘What the Bleep do We Know?’), relative to our perspective, everything is as real as it gets.

Much like the way a game of dodgeball changes as soon as you step inside the circle, we are consumed with the relative goal from our new perpective: ‘target’.

It’s just that here, in life, not only are we incapable of seeing beyond that 3-inch wide strip of white-painted asphalt…

…we can’t even see the asphalt.

I wrote a screen play-somewhat about the meaning of “What the bleep, and that came out before I could sell mine. Its very different from the movie, however both stories are brilliant. I do believe in the matrix…to some degree. xoxo
