Whew! I made it through!

Well, another year gone, and I made it almost all the way through without hearing the dreaded words.

Mom and other family did not call, no cards, no one at work, no friends remembered….

But when I went to the gas station to get smokes…I said "thanks, it’s great to be carded today", and doggone if he dint tell me happy birthday. UGH. He also said "We card EVERYONE!" which kind of blew my illusions that maybe I look younger than my age LOL
