Travel the world

So I start this diary entry as I have started so many others.  I would like to say recently, but it clearly isn´t….something like months ago…perhaps not even this year!

I´m currently on a sabbatical from work and am travelling around Central and South America.  So far I´ve taken in Guatemala, Belize, Honduras and now Nicaragua.  It´s interesting, the countries to a certain degree blend into one another.  Yet they each have subtle and not so subtle differences.  I´ve found that the further south i have come in central america, the poverty increases.  It will be interesting to see what it is like in Costa Rica and Panama, given that they have such heavy american influences.  Does this affect what I, as a tourist, will see?

As always, I do not have much time to keep this updated, however I will try and update this as much as I can.
