Where Does the Time Go?

Here it is… already THURSDAY, and the day is pretty much over!!!  I can’t believe how fast time is flying these days.  So on the news front of my life, it has been a busy week.

I sent out invitations last Saturday, and people are beginning to receive them.  YAY!  It is official.  LOL  Once the invitations are sent there is no turning back!!!

I’m supposed to be leaving next week for my quick trip to Nebraska.  Guess what…  I STILL DON’T HAVE MY TICKETS!!!  My dad transferred money to my Paypal account which just cleared YESTERDAY.  Now I am waiting for it to transfer to my savings account.  My mom also finally sent me a check to help out with my plane ticket this week.  (Took long enough.)  I probably won’t get that check until Monday though.  Luckily Jacob gets paid tomorrow, so regardless I’ll be getting my ticket tomorrow.  I’ve never cut it this close on getting a ticket before though.  LOL 

I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that prices don’t go up too much the longer that I wait.  *goes to check prices again*  OUCH!!  That hurt.  Went up from $195 yesterday to $324 today.  *goes to check around some more*  Okay… I really FUCKED this one up.  I’m not having any luck here! 

Well shit… I ended up paying $367 for my ticket.  DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!  I talked to my mom, and it basically comes down to the fact that I am running out of time.  I have way too much to get done before the wedding to not go at all.  Luckily, when it comes down to it.  I’m really not paying for the ticket myself.  It just seems like it right now because of the fact that the money that my dad sent me hasn’t hit my account yet, and the money that my mom sent isn’t here yet.  I told my mom that if I got this ticket, she was going to have to step up and pay for a lot more stuff which she agreed to.

I’m also going to be leaving a day later than I had previously planned on.  Oh well I guess.  It’s not that big of a deal really.  As long as I get done what needs to be taken care of.  That means that I have an extra day to get my work taken care of.  Now here’s the next question.  Do I still take Wednesday off since I already have that day off and since I am working extra hours to make up for those days, or do I go in that Wednesday and work so that I don’t have to work quite as many extra hours???  Will have to think about that, and probably just see how I feel about it on Tuesday.  =)  What they don’t know at work won’t hurt them.

Jacob and I are going to his mom’s house this weekend for Mother’s Day.  His sister actually just got out of the hospital on Tuesday.  She had 7 grand mal seizures last week and ended up in the ICU for a day, and then in pediatrics for a few days.  Hopefully they have her medication figured out now so that she won’t be having the seizures any more.  She actually went for quite awhile without having a seizure.

So those are the plans.  I’m sure I have more to write about, but I don’t feel like typing anymore.  Have a good night!!!
