We Are Going Out On Monday Too!!!

At 4 o’clock this afternoon, Jacob called to tell me that they probably weren’t going to the races because of the weather, which I was expecting. I told him it was okay, and that we would just have to get together some other time. Well then I clicked back over to the other line cuz I had been talking to Becca’s friend Starr. I was telling her about Jacob, when the line beeped again.

This time it was Cheryl. The lady from my job whose house I am going to tomorrow. She was calling to make sure I was still coming. I told her that he had called me!!! LMAO She was so jealous. Well then I got off the phone with her and clicked back over to Starr who was still waiting. I started to tell her more about Jacob when the line beeped again. I clicked over and it was HIM again. LOL He told me that there had been a change of plans and that the races hadn’t been cancelled yet and wanted to know if I still wanted to go. I told him sure, and then he said that they were leaving in like 30 minutes.

So I ran and got in the shower and got ready as fast as I could. Considering how fast I ended up getting ready… I looked good tonight!!!! LOL Well half an hour rolled around, and still no Jacob. So I called Sandy, the girl that I’m riding with to SD tomorrow, and talked to her about what time we are leaving and then told her about Jacob. I asked her if she thought I should call him and check if he was coming or not because by that time it had been over an hour. She said that I should. LOL

Well then I got off the phone with her… called the cell phone number that was on the caller ID and asked for Jacob. The guy that answered said he wasn’t there, then asked if I was Jamie from Coleridge. I told him yeah, and he said that Jacob should be on his way to come get me. So I was like, Okay cool. I hung up with whoever it was that I talked to, and then called Becca and was talking to her when Jacob and his brother pulled up. =)

His brother’s name is Seth. He is really nice. He actually knows Harry, Becca’s middle son, because his son was in the same headstart class with him. Small world!!! And he knows Becca’s brother too. It was a cool ride to the race track. About 30 minutes or so. Just general talk. It was so cute cuz Jacob introduced me as his “co-worker”. LMAO He said he didn’t know if we are friends yet. I told him well sure we are. LOL

We got to the race track and he paid for me to get into the pits and everything. Which I was glad for since I only have like $16 right now, and that is supposed to be for beer for tomorrow. LOL So anyway… they got the car off the trailer and were doing the warm up laps and then then hot lap. Well then the sirens started going off, so they called off the races for the night. I was kinda disappointed cuz now we were just gonna go home. Oh well I guess. At least now I know that he was serious about going. LOL

On the way back from the race track… Jacob was tripping about the storm and the clouds and stuff. He kept asking if certain clouds were funnel clouds. LOL It was so cute. His brother kept telling him to shut the fuck up because he was starting to make him nervous. While we were driving back though, then his brother asked out of the blue if I wanted to come back to their house to drink a couple of beers. I told him I didn’t care and that was cool with me. Jacob said that was cool but that he doesn’t drink, but he didn’t care if I wanted to come back and drink a few with his brother and his brother’s wife. So I did. LOL

We got back to his brother’s house and I got to meet his wife and their kids. They have a beautiful family. Anyway… I’m gonna try and make a long story short… Jacob and I ended up on the front porch just talking. He took my picture a couple of times with his digital camera, but I made him erase them. LOL He showed me where he works out at. Did I mention that he has a nice body? LOL

We never had any like dull silences really. A couple of times we both would get quiet, but no real long excrutiating silences. =) He’s so smart!!!! I just wish I could describe him better because I know that I’m not even giving him half the credit that he deserves. I’m skipping over a few things too, but that’s just cuz I don’t want to write a HUGE entry. LOL Anyway…

He said that he was sorry that the race got cancelled. I said that I was too, but that I was kinda glad it did. He asked me why then. I said because that means that now I will get to see him on Monday too. LOL He seemed to like that. I also got him to drink a beer with me. I told him that I didn’t want to drink anymore if he wasn’t going to drink, because I didn’t want to look like a lush drinking by myself. So he actually went in and brought back out two beers and drank one with me. I told him I feel special cuz he won’t even drink with is brother. LOL He told me that I should.

Eventually his brother came out and asked if I was ready to go. I said sure and went in the house and grabbed my purse. On the ride home Jacob took my pic again. LOL Twice. But he didn’t get my face that well in either of them, so I told him he could keep those too. I’m going to get to see him on Monday now!!! I can’t wait!!!! And I’m not gonna go and tell the girls from my job a lot of details, because I told him that I wouldn’t. He doesn’t like people in his business… and I don’t really either, so it shouldn’t be a problem I don’t think. He kept saying well we’ll see. LOL Gee thanks Jake.

Well I’m off to bed. I got a lot of shit I have to get done tomorrow before I go to SD. And I’m tired. It’s raining outside. So I’m gonna go lay down… listen to the rain and think about Jacob. We both love listening to the rain. =)
