Thinking About Giving It a Shot

So it’s no jo mo.  Yay.  Can you sense my enthusiasm?  LOL  I’m thinking of giving it a shot, but at the same time don’t technically want to commit to it just in case I don’t get the chance to follow through.  LOL  The whole week of Thanksgiving, I may or may not have access to internet, so therefore I have a disadvantage because I may or may not get to post an entry.  Does it count if you write but don’t post until later on?  =

So last night of course was Halloween.  I went over to the transition house to help with handing out candy thinking that because the house is in such a centralized neighborhood that there would be piles of kids rolling through.  Yeah… not so much.  All I have to say is that in addition to the candy that some of the refugee children got from trick-or-treating, they will also have a GINORMOUS bowl of candy that wasn’t given out at all.  They are going to be hopped up on sugar for weeks to come, and needless to say there’s at least one of them that shouldn’t have sugar AT ALL.  LOL  Glad I’m not living in that house.

Tomorrow is my creative arts performance at church.  I’m going over to Gina’s in a little while to rehearse a few more times.  I think it will be good if I can just get out of my head a little bit more.  I did okay on Thursday night, but I think it could be better.  It’s pretty much the fact that I need to over-act in a sense so that what I am trying to convey is more obvious.  Once I get it down, the only other thing that may or may not end up being an issue is the band playing the song.  I noticed on Thursday night that they were dragging a bit.  For some reason they seemed to think that it was slower than what I think the song really is.  And the part where they are supposed to cresendo… yeah… well it really wasn’t all that different from the rest of the song.  I’m almost wishing that we would have just decided to use the recording instead of the band.  I feel bad saying that, but it’s what I feel so why deny it?

My dad emailed me the other day to tell me that my wedding DVD is going to be ready on Monday.  LMAO  That’s awesome!  Even though we’ve been married for 2 1/2 years already.  Better late than never I guess.  Oh and he talked the guy that did the video for us down on the price.  It’s actually my fault that I haven’t gotten the video until now simply because of the fact that I was never able to finish paying for the damn thing.  But at the same time, I would have thought that the DVD would have already been ready by now which according to my dad, Curt didn’t even start editing the video until sometime within the last couple of weeks.  LOL  Ehhh… I’m not mad.  It’s more my own fault than his.

Well, since I’m going to be writing here every day for the next month, I’m going to go ahead and cut this shorter than I normally would.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!
