Slow And Steady
I was just now very pleasantly surprised when I logged on to view our bank account, only to find that we have received yet one more tax return. =) YAY!!! That means that I have yet to receive my state return, and Jacob will be receiving his federal for this year still. We filed separately this year, but next year we will probably file jointly.
I like getting money when I least expect it. LOL Because of this extra little bit of unexpected money, we are now able to completely pay of one loan, and with fingers crossed by our next checks should be able to pay of any remaining loans. Talk about what a huge sigh of relief that will be.
I’ve been checking out apartments and houses in Oregon. They have some way cute places up there, and way affordable as well. If anybody who lives in Oregon happens to read this, leave me a note and let me know what it’s like there. Is there a job market for people who are randomly wanting to move there?
I also happened to check and see what kind of listing for houses I could find back home, and I just happened to find THIS HOUSE. It actually is just down the street from my mom’s in-laws, and only a few block from where my mom lives. I wish I hadn’t bothered looking for a place in that area. LOL Now I want that house even though I don’t necessarily want to move back to Nebraska. I know that if I show that house to Jacob, he’ll be all gung ho on moving back there. I hate being so on the fence about where I want to live.
I’ve pretty much set my sites on Oregon though. Yeah… I’m not changing my mind. For now.
Okay… so Jacob wasn’t quite as gung ho as I thought he would be. He thinks the house is awesome, but I think he also has his sites set on Oregon now.
And this is going completely of topic, but I recently acquired a new celebrity crush. LOL Since I have been getting up way early in the mornings to drive Jacob to work so that I can have the car, when I get home from dropping him off I tend to turn on the T.V. to Good Morning America. My new crush is…
Chris Cuomo
LOL He looks much better on television in the morning.
And with that folks… have a great weekend!!!
Laters,
JamieLynn =)
I have visited the Portland and Tillamoook areas of Oregon and I LOOOOVED it. There are a lot of hippie and new age type people there. Although I have no idea about the job market
