Slapped With A Corndog

I just erased a whole long entry!!!  =(  I’m so pissed!!!  I was almost finished with the damn thing too.  Fuck fuck fuck.  I guess I’ll start over again.  Doubt if I’ll remember it all, but I’ll try.

So, yeah… you read my title right.  My loving boyfriend just tried to slap me in the face with a corndog.  LOL  But I can’t be mad cuz I tried to slap him in the face with a corndog first.  =)

Well, it seems as though everyone has had a pretty good Valentine’s Day.  Including myself, but before I start with today, I guess I’ll write about our weekend.

Jacob and I both got off of work early on Friday.  We had planned on going out of town, but actually ended up staying home instead.  Since we got our internet hooked up, Jacob has been able to play his favorite game, and has been quite the happy camper since.  Good deal in my eyes.  This weekend ended up being pretty relaxing for the most part.  And we actually got some stuff done too.

We didn’t really do too much on Saturday.  Just stayed in, watched movies, played on the computer.  Sunday we did pretty much the same, but we also got some grocery shopping done as well as ALL of our laundry.  We ended up doing 9 loads of laundry!!!  OMG!!!  i didn’t even realize how many clothes we had.  We were up until 2 in the morning finishing it all, but that’s just because I actually sat and folded, hung up, and put away EVERYTHING in the closet.  LOL

Normally, we do laundry and just have one big pile of clean clothes that we fish through to find what we want to wear.  Not this time… everything is now neatly seperated and put away!!!  =)  Yay for me!!!

So by the time laundry was finished, I knew that Jacob was not going to want to go to work today cuz it was so late.  And I didn’t really feel like arguing with him about going, so I told him that I didn’t care if he went to work or not today.  He was pretty happy with that idea, so when it was time for him to be getting ready for work this morning, he called his dad and told him to tell the boss that we were still out of town.

My alarm went off this morning, and I hit snooze.  For some reason, the alarm decided to just stay on snooze, and never went off again.  Therefore, when I woke up it was after 8 am.  SHIT!!!  So I called the guy that I work with in the mornings at the one office to let him know what was up.  Then I called my boss to let him know as well.  Neither really cared at all, but were glad that I called.  That’s when I decided that, heck I’m already late, might as well take my time now.  So I went back to sleep for another hour.  LOL  I finally made it to work 2 hours late.  =)  I figure that I work hard enough at my job.  It’s really not that big of deal, as long as it doesn’t become a habit.

Work went by fairly quickly today then.  Probably cuz I was only there for 7 hours instead of 9.  I was home by a little after 5.  Traffic was shitty because of the rain, but that’s nothing new with or without rain.  When I got home, Jacob was no where to be found.  I called him on his cell phone, and it turned out that he was with his cousin Clint.  They were just down the street and he said he was on his way home.

About 5 minutes later, they showed up.  Jacob had wanted to make sure that he got something for me for our first Valentine’s Day together, so he ran out and got me a ballon shaped like lips that says “I Love You” and some beautiful flowers.  It was so sweet.  We didn’t have anything to put the flowers in though, so I am going to take them to work with me and put them in a vase there.  Either that or ask Dendra if I can just borrow one, and then bring it back when we no longer need it.  I’m sure she won’t mind.  =)

So all in all, it has been a good day as well as a good weekend.  Jacob is staying home from work again tomorrow due to a doctor’s appointment that he has in the morning.  He is going to work with his cousin this weekend to make up for the day of work that he misses tomorrow though.
