New Job

I honestly don’t really have much of anything to write about today.  Just wanted to write to keep in sync with my efforts to write more often.  LOL

Not much is new really since my last entry.  The President will be here tomorrow along with the Terminator.  LOL  Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger will be here too!  How frickin’ crazy is THAT?!  Not that the Governor and the President are meeting, but that they are going to be at MY JOB!  WTF

So we got an email this morning letting us know what will be going on tomorrow while they are here.  Parking is going to probably be crazy because they are closing 3 parking lots around the buildings that they will be closest to.  People walking outside must have their badges and another picture ID on them at all times.  People who are not employees here with a badge will not be permitted to walk down the street.  The lighrail station right outside will be closed.  Only certain streets will be open to traffic.

From 1pm to 4pm no traffic will be permitted around the campus at all.  We’ll basically be on lockdown from 1-4 tomorrow.  LOL  I better come in early tomorrow I guess to make sure that I can get here on time.  Traffic will be shitty.  Should be interesting to say the least.

So Jacob got a new job.  AGAIN.  He is kinda gettin’ on my nerves with all the job hoppin’ that he is doing.  But this time he is going back to his old job that he had last year.  This time he is going to be the manager of the telemarketing department running the whole department.  He basically now got a $5 pay increase to what he is making now.  I actually just talked to him.  He pretty much just pissed me off though.  Granted the pay increase is nice and all, but he pretty much has 2 weeks to make this new job successful.  If he doesn’t follow through with what he presented to the new job today, then they are going to shut him down.

He fucking KNOWS how much we need in order to pay for the rest of this wedding.  And the fact that he just QUIT his current job a day early instead of working the rest of today to get paid for a full 40 hours is irritating too.  He swears that everything is going to work out the way that he wants/needs it to, so I guess we’ll just have to see.  I’m still not happy with the fact that he’s basically put all his eggs in one basket so to speak.

So the entry that I had nothing to write about in… looks like I actually did.  Hmm.
