It’s Been Days… (+pictures)

…since I’ve written anything here.  I’m beginning to see myself slip into slacker mode again with OD.  Oh well… you know me.  I’m always around somewhere.

In all honesty, there’s a reason that I haven’t written in a few days.  The fact is… I don’t have anything to write about.  =)  Of course now I’ll end up writing something substantial.

Oh yeah!!!  I got something… So after scrambling and trying to figure rent out at the beginning of the month, I finally just called the landlord to see if we could work something out for this month.  She said that she couldn’t take a partial payment, but that she would accept an extremely late check.  =)  I don’t have to give her the check for rent until this Thursday, and she said she would hold onto it until Monday.

Regardless, we are still b-r-o-k-e.  Jacob got his taxes taken care, HOWEVER he went to H & R Block and they are now charging him $214 to file them.  WTF!  Seriously though?  Right now we are filing separately, so I will be taking care of my own taxes via Turbo Tax.  FUCK H & R RIPOFF BLOCK!

I will be getting plane tickets this week for our trip to Nebraska.  I could just get them now, but I’m going to wait until I know for sure that rent and PG&E are taken care of.  I’m at the point where I kind of wish we didn’t have to go back to Nebraska right now.  I want to keep the money that we are going to have to do other things with.  *sigh*  I guess seeing family and friends won’t be so bad either though.  It’s crazy to think that I haven’t seen anyone in my family since our wedding in July of 2006 (other than my mom who came out to see us in November).  Okay… so maybe I am looking forward to it a little more than I thought.  =)
