It’s About Time

I’m happy to report that things in my section of the world are seemingly starting to go smoothly.  I got our plane tickets to go back to Nebraska when I got paid on the 15th.  I was able to get rent paid as well, and made a payment so that our cable wouldn’t get shut off.  LOL  Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get our tickets though.  I’m known for my procrastination skills I guess.  =)

Luckily the procrastination didn’t kill me when it came to the cost of our tickets.  I ended up paying only $329 for two round trip tickets into Omaha.  We leave on Tuesday flying out of San Jose at 6:35 a.m. and arriving in Omaha at 2:05 p.m.  Our flight back to San Jose will be on Monday the 28th and we leave at like 2:45 p.m. and get home around 7:30 p.m.

Jacob gets paid tomorrow, and he also got one of his tax return checks in the mail yesterday.  =)  I get my hair done on Saturday, and then I’m going shopping for some new clothes for the trip and mainly a dress for the wedding.  It will be really nice if Jacob gets his big tax return check before we leave.  That would just make my month!

Not much else is going on other than that quick update.  Just to keep up to date, I’m currently reading this:

I really wish I was reading this though:

I stopped at Barnes and Noble on my lunch, and they are completely out of this book and it’s on backorder too.  I’m on the list for when they get a new shipment.  *sigh*  I was so hoping to have this for my trip next week.  I think it would be perfect plane ride reading material.  I’ll check around at some other stores.  Maybe I’ll get lucky.

Well I’m off to finish my Tandoori Oven.  mmmm mmmm mmmm  Chicken Biriyani.

Laters,
JamieLynn =)

I too am trying to aquire “The Last Lecture”. I added my name to the list on Sunday. I could hardly believe they were sold out. I am so anxious to read it.

ryn: you really disgust me, i mean honestly, what the hell is your problem that you need to talk to me like that? what gives you the right? maybe you’re the one that needs to grow up, you should have learned by now that you don’t always get what you want and that some people have problems they just can’t do anything about… by the way, i’m in the process of writing you an entry, maybe you’ll

find it enlightening.
