Finally…

I’m such a procrastinator.  I really should have posted these pictures forever ago, but I’m just doing it now.  But hey… at least it’s getting done right?  So these are some of the pics from my birthday this year.  It was a good one.  Nothing to exciting really happened, but it was good none the less.

Getting ready to leave for the day in Santa Cruz.

He really loves taking pictures.  LOL

The cost of gas at the CHEAP gas station on my birthday.

Spending too damn much money on gas so we could get of town.

$5 pizza.  Mmmmmm.

Getting on Highway 17.  One of my favorite drives.

The beach we decided to spend the day at.  I decided that I wanted to build a sand castle.  So first we had to go buy buckets.  We couldn’t find a dollar store for the life of us.

We finally found these at Long’s Drug Store.  =)

Back to the beach.  Here’s the foundation of the castle.

I sit and smile…

….while Jacob does this.

The first of our towers.

This just looks weird to me.  LOL

I work on the details while Jacob works on building the walls.

See my stars and turtles?  =)

It’s coming along nicely don’t ya think?

Jacob making the bricks for the walls.

Close-up of the details that I contributed.

Testing the waters.  It pretty much stays the same temperature no matter how warm or cold it is outside.  Needless to say… the water is flippin’ cold all the time!  You really have to build a tolerance to it.

More pics in next entry…

wow, you are a talented builder!!! I can’t wait to see the finished result.

Was that gas station really called ‘World’? That’s a funny name for a gas station! And that is a really awesome sand castle!
